The late Elizabeth Taylor might not have made the best fashion choices over the years, but there was one thing she did right every single time—her jewelry. Elizabeth had a magnificent and storied collection of jewels, including the 69-carat Taylor-Burton diamond and the 33-carat Krupp diamond.
Now, sources say her famous pieces are going up for auction at Christie's. The full details have yet to be released, but you can guarantee the bidding is going to be intense—the jewels were last valued at $150 million.
Hopefully, some of the pieces end up in museums rather than tucked away in private collections. We'd love to see them!

Last valued at 150 million...really interesting to find out how high its going to climb during the auction.
hi emily.. her jewelleries are so expensive.. i dont think they will give away even 1 piece to the museum..do you? :)
Great post - there was no one else quite like her! It would be wonderful to see some of these creations end up in museums - good point!
good post here,, i like this blog,,,fantastic
nice blog, ilove your blog,,,
Liz Taylor and my mom shared a birthday, February 27th, and like Liz, my mom was a lovely lady who endured many health challenges. I have her amethyst ring, which she wore for many years prior to her death, and I treasure it, because she did. Now that Elizabeth Taylor is gone, her legend will continue to grow. R.I.P.
